Learning about Children's Homes in Guatemala

Hola! I am back from Guatemala and ready to hit the ground running. I am so grateful to the Director of Casa Esperanza, Steve Peters, and the staff at the Children's home for answering my questions, and allowing me to learn from them. It was an invaluable two weeks, and although I realize I still have so much to learn, I feel prepared to get things rolling. I appreciate that we do not have to create the wheel here, because Fe Viva have been so great for helping me and showing me the things they have learned over the years.

For the last week of my time in Guatemala I had a team from Kingston with me - they had been in Nicaragua and El Salvador before joining me in Guatemala. I was able to spend a few days ministering with them, and many of them got to see the building that will be the children's home in Villa Nueva for the first time! That was very exciting, I'm so glad they got to see it. One of the team members was in tears after seeing it.

Thank you for your prayers and support! I'll send out a formal newsletter soon! If you are not on my newsletter email list, but want to be, let me know!

Blessings
Amy
